Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is an Adobe Flash based animated children's TV series created by American animator Bob Boyle, produced by Bolder and Starz Media, and debuted on Nick Jr in 2006. The entire show including its characters and surroundings resemble a video game.
Trivia: Originally based on a story by Boyle's niece, Viviana Ogawa, which he assembled into a storybook called The Tail of Flopsy, Mopsy, and Ted which he later renamed as Widget, Wubby, and Walden. Wubby morphed into Wubbzy and Walden was named after Walden Pond. Catchy music is composed by Brad Mossman. Feel free to look around a bit.
Meet the Gang
Wubbzy is the square shaped, yellow star of the show. He looks sort of like a small gerbil creature who loves kickety-kick ball and his favorite phrase is "Wow, wow, wow!". Wubbzy is voiced by Grey DeLisle with a high pitched tone.
Widget is Wubbzy's tall pink friend. She looks sort of like a small rabbit creature who can fix or invent anything and her favorite phrase is "No problemo!". Her name is indicative of the interesting contraptions she invents including the Robo-Cluck 3000 and the Videotron 3000. Widget was originally voiced by Carolyn Lawrence before Lara Jill Miller took over the role with a thick Southern accent.
Walden is their intellectual purple bookworm. He looks sort of like a small bear cub creature who knows about science, art and is constantly seeking to add to his knowledge. His favorite phrases are "Very interesting!" and "Yes, yes yes". Walden is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui with an quasi-Australian accent.
